From “the desired city” to the “inhabited city”, indeed “through”. The city is complex and contradictory in its interior, where lights and shadows alternate assuming different and changing dimensions depending on the eye with which we choose to observe it. In the city we move encapsulated in our own routine, chasing a time that always seems to lack, taking advantage of spaces where it is only allowed to pass through fast, not to slow down, stop and meet. It is the quality of the relationships that individuals weave together to build in the city “bridges” through which to allow everyone to pass from situations of encapsulation, closure ... to situations of human blooming. In a world characterized by the difficulty of drawing a boundary between “here and elsewhere”, cities are the place able to evokes the double horizon of our future: the utopia of a unified world and the dream of a universe to explore. Here it becomes possible for all of us to recognize each other in the common human citizenship
