In Morphology of modern Russian Novel: what has changed? the author focuses on the dynamics characterizing the Russian literary field of the new millennium, and particularly on the changes undergone by an extremely metamorphic genre like that of the novel. Stemming from the Global Novel theory conceived by S. Calabrese, the author identifies in uchronian novels, analyzed through the prism of Magical Historicism — in A. Etkind’s formulation — one of the salient features of contemporary Russian literature.
