Le Annotationi de Gauges de’ Gozze da Pesaro: estudio preliminar y edición

The present investigation aims at presenting a preliminary study and the critical edition of Le annotationi by Gauges de’ Gozze, published in Siena in 1631. The Annotationi is composed by a list of 114 notes where the author comments extensively some linguistic features that can be recognized in the first edition of the Gramatica spagnola e italiana by Lorenzo Franciosini, published in 1624. After a brief overview of the text, this study gives a great deal of attention to some of the most interesting amendments Franciosini introduces in the second edition of his grammar.
