The present article traces the main steps of the origin of the world according to the Norse cosmogony, bur from an intercultural perspective: thus the various moments in which existence takes shape are in close dialogue with other cultures – also very distant as the Indian or Greek one – and in a relationship of interdependence with the Norse and Germanic concept of murder, which justifies its final outcome.
