I met Tullio Regge in the late 1990s, when we started working together on various projects related to the popularization of relativity and quantum mechanics. I thus had the occasion to discuss with him not only about physics but also about other topics, ranging from politics to art and literature. By interacting with him I have had the opportunity to appreciate the great scientist, the cultivated man, his curiosity, his sense of humour and his capacity to look at questions in culture, politics, society from unexpected or unconventional points of view. Here I try to outline the Regge's original approach to the science popularization, in the light of his wide cultural interests.

Abstract
I met Tullio Regge in the late 1990s, when we started working together on various projects related to the popularization of relativity and quantum mechanics. I thus had the occasion to discuss with him not only about physics but also about other topics, ranging from politics to art and literature. By interacting with him I have had the opportunity to appreciate the great scientist, the cultivated man, his curiosity, his sense of humour and his capacity to look at questions in culture, politics, society from unexpected or unconventional points of view. Here I try to outline the Regge's original approach to the science popularization, in the light of his wide cultural interests.Pubblicazioni consigliate
