Abstract
Starting from the Hellenistic period and for the late Antiquity many henotheistic e monotheistic cults and philosophical doctrines undermined the polytheistic religion. In this period the relationship between the Greek religion and the reference political organisation changes. There is a crisis of Greek political and religious pluralism to which follows the introduction of a theological system imposing a unitary concept of transcendence and therefore of the power. According to this, the political order is interpreted as a projection of divine dimension. The religion conforms itself to the new form of government and becomes instrument of controls and, at the same time, it is the expression of a renewed religious sensitivity.Pubblicazioni consigliate
