Thispaperpresentstheimplementationofadigitallycontrolledparallelactivefi lte rforathyristorrectifierwithinductiveload.Usingastate-of-the- artdigitalsignalprocessor(DSP)platform(ADSP21020andADMC200), afullydigitalcontrolofthesystem,basedonthedead- beatcontrolofinvertercurrentsandspacevectormodulation,isimplemented. Theintrinsiccalculationdelayofthedead- beatalgorithmisshowntorepresentaserioushurdlefortheachievementofasatisfactorycom pensationquality.Inparticular,meetingtheIEC1000-3- 2standardsforclassAequipmentappearstobequitedifficult,especiallyinthehigh- frequencyrange. Thispaperinvestigatestheeffectsoftheinputpassivefiltersandpowerconverterdesignon thesystem'sperformanceanddescribestheimplementationofthedigitalcontrolbymeansoft hespecifiedhardware.
