Sobre las gramáticas del italiano en Hispanoamérica

This paper presents the results achieved so far about Gramaticography in the context of the LITIAS project, that deals with the influence and history of Italian language in Spanish-speaking territories from the “origins” to the end of the 20th century, with a particular focus on Latin America. The aim is to identify those linguistic works that, somehow, introduced and spread Italian language and culture in Spanish-speaking countries. At the end of the project, a digital platform will be created to present an overview of the role of Italian (language, culture, trade, etc.) through the analysis of different materials (grammars, dictionaries, translations from Italian into Spanish) that had a particular influence both on its linguistic and cultural development, and on its socio-economic thought and progress.
