To address the theme of regional regeneration today means planning a design action that, based on one or more contingent elements that constitute the basic framework, is capable of understanding the dynamics of the territory, intersecting the many physical and temporal trajectories with the perception of the place. Proceeding in this manner will make it possible to build a regional regeneration project in a way that will make it an element of identity and thus capable of generating competitive advantages. Reclaiming an abandoned railway could therefore provide the basis for building a network of diff use relationships on the territory which could look to slow and sustainable tourism to stimulate local economies. But will this be suffi cient to ensure that the project is actually completed? This essay presents a critical reading of the strategic ‘Green Tour’ project by the Regione Veneto, and how it is framed within its regional dimension, its identity and its relation to sustainable tourism.

Abstract
This essay presents a critical reading of the strategic ‘Green Tour’ project by the Regione Veneto, and how it is framed within its regional dimension, its identity and its relation to sustainable tourism.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
