The article studies the rendering of some of the main translations of one of Baudelaire's "Les Fleurs di mal" poem: "Le Crépuscule du matin". In its first part, also through the study of variants, the essay analyses the original text trying to highlight the main problematic issuses for the Italian translator. In the second part, with particular attention to lexicon, it analyses the versions by some of the most important "Fleurs du mal"’s Italian poet-translators in the 20th century (Bertolucci, Caproni, Bufalino, Frezza, Raboni, Ortesta).
