This paper points out the reuse of Anth. Lat. 724 R.2, the dedicatory carmen composed for the so-called “Atlas of Theodosius ii” (435 AD), in an epigrammatic elogium for Justinian which is transmitted by two juridical manuscripts (Bruxelles, Bibliothèque Royale de Belgique, Fonds général, Ms. 1485-1501, sec. xii-xiii; Metz, Médiathèque Verlaine, Fonds manuscrits, MS 65 [antea B.31], sec. xiv, and also probably known to Stephan of Rouen, as it emerges from the praise of the canonist Gratian contained in his Draco Normannicus (a. 1167-1170).
