Raccontare le spiritualità. Forme di credenza oltre la religione

Abstract · Talking about Spirituality. Forms of Belief Beyond Religion · Spirituality related to young people’s experiences has been a topic in social studies of religions and spiritualities for some years now, both internationally and in Italy. We present the results of a survey which involved 1384 young students between the ages of 13 and 20 selected in an high school in Vicenza, Veneto region. If we consider young people as social actors in transition toward greater autonomy, including religious and spiritual spheres, then the empirical evidences suggest the emergence of an orientation ‒ the « spiritual but not completely religious » ‒ which represents not only a snapshot of a phenomenon that by its nature is in motion, but can be fully included in the debate on spiritualities whose meanings are reshaped as experiences within different social and cultural contexts.
