The contribution presents new archival documents regarding the construction of the building complex erected in Padua for charitable reasons, based on a testamentary bequest (in 1513) of the Venetian patrician and apostolic prothonotary Marco Lando. Corte Lando is well known in historiography as is the history of its establishment, carried out a few years after Marco's death by his cousin Pietro Lando who later, in 1539, became Doge.
