This essay aims to explore some aspects of the connection between epistemology and politics in Georges Canguilhem's work. The analysis will take as its starting point the specific articulation between life - as the specific object of biopolitics -, its knowledge, and its government. This will lead to highlighting the relevance of a proper political consideration of the living, its normativity, and its ability of institutional invention, mediated by the epistemological reflection.
