The Movimiento Nacionalista Tacuara was an Argentine extreme right-wing movement in the '60s and the beginning of the '70s. Inspired by Spanish Falangism, they pursued the construction of a national-syndicalist State through a "national revolution". Here we formulate questions about the connections established between Tacuara and European neo-fascist movements, and about their participation in a transnational extreme right-wing political culture. Also, we analyse the way in which today their former members perceive the transnationality of their activism. We use a transnational perspective and the tools provided by oral history, in order to investigate memories and self-representations.

Abstract
The Movimiento Nacionalista Tacuara was an Argentine extreme right-wing movement in the '60s and the beginning of the '70s. Inspired by Spanish Falangism, they pursued the construction of a national-syndicalist State through a "national revolution". Here we formulate questions about the connections established between Tacuara and European neo-fascist movements, and about their participation in a transnational extreme right-wing political culture. Also, we analyse the way in which today their former members perceive the transnationality of their activism. We use a transnational perspective and the tools provided by oral history, in order to investigate memories and self-representations.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
