The paper analyzed the Annex dedicated to wine e spirits of the Comprehensive and Economic Trade Agreement (CETA) between EU and Canada. Ratified by the majority of the EU countries, it is not yet ratified by Italy. The adoption of CETA raises the question on how it has modi ed the original 2003 Agreement between the European Community and Canada to create more favorable conditions for the harmonious development of trade in wine and spirit drinks on the basis of equality and mutual bene t. However, it has been subject to criticism here analyzed.
