The article examines the ecology of the future world in the works of the Soviet science fiction writer Kir Bulychev, taking his literary series Adventures of Alisa, as a sample. Two distinct periods in the comprehension of ecological problems by Bulychev are distinguished: the first period (1965–mid 1970s) represents the future as a technological eco-paradise, characterized by flourishing genetics, selective breeding of species and terraforming, while human intervention in the natural biosphere does not lead to negative consequences. During the second period, beginning with the story A Million Adventures (1976– 1982), nature becomes a full-fledged subject of relationships with man, and Bulychev’s work openly raises the questions of ecological catastrophe.

Abstract
The article examines the ecology of the future world in the works of the Soviet science fiction writer Kir Bulychev, taking his literary series Adventures of Alisa, as a sample. Two distinct periods in the comprehension of ecological problems by Bulychev are distinguished: the first period (1965–mid 1970s) represents the future as a technological eco-paradise, characterized by flourishing genetics, selective breeding of species and terraforming, while human intervention in the natural biosphere does not lead to negative consequences. During the second period, beginning with the story A Million Adventures (1976– 1982), nature becomes a full-fledged subject of relationships with man, and Bulychev’s work openly raises the questions of ecological catastrophe.Pubblicazioni consigliate
