The article shows the variety of forms taken by social agriculture in various areas of North Italy. Agriculture, social vocation, and protection of the environment prove to be factors not only important for the revitalization of areas on the margins of the great economic processes but also essential for maintaining a virtuous balance between man and the environment in many contexts.
