In recent centuries, the problem of housing and the growth of new residential neighborhoods has always stimulated the attention of the most advanced and responsible architectural research. And it is interesting for us researchers, who are enthusiastic about these issues, to retrace some of the stages, lining up projects, research and even just declarations, capable of bringing out the most significant answers proposed by different masters. And as designers, to propose courageous, rapid answers and above all not closed within our disciplinary fence. Rather, fresh formulations as open as possible in offering a substantial contribution to the actual critical issues and fragilities at a global level. In the five points of "Towards an architecture", half serious and half facetious, we like the idea of proposing a new vision for the new neighborhoods of the future, for those urban suburbs where the majority of the world's population will live. “Five floors of architecture” as a limit that cannot be crossed for future buildings, so as not to upset the new balance that we are trying to establish between the natural system and the built system.

Abstract
“Five floors of architecture” as a limit that cannot be crossed for future buildings, so as not to upset the new balance that we are trying to establish between the natural system and the built system.Pubblicazioni consigliate
