Walking has been increasingly explored as a research method, an educational tool, a dissemination practice and a social practice for knowledge co-production between academics and local communities. In this paper, the walking practice will be explored from a narrative and geographical perspective informed by literary, urban and cultural geography; mobility studies, and in particular the expanding field of mobility and the humanities; and the geohumanities.
