Can comics serve as a valuable methodological and analytical framework for mapping the complex, embodied, and affective dimensions of mobility and memory? While the graphic memoir has been increasingly used to map personal existential trajectories, the nexus of comics, maps, and memory remains significantly underexplored in map studies. To analyse the interplay between graphic storytelling, cartographic language, and memorial narration, this exploration is grounded in the situated experience of working as a geographer-cartoonist within the Music, Migration & Mobility (MMM) project at the Royal College of Music, London.

Abstract
Can comics serve as a valuable methodological and analytical framework for mapping the complex, embodied, and affective dimensions of mobility and memory? While the graphic memoir has been increasingly used to map personal existential trajectories, the nexus of comics, maps, and memory remains significantly underexplored in map studies. To analyse the interplay between graphic storytelling, cartographic language, and memorial narration, this exploration is grounded in the situated experience of working as a geographer-cartoonist within the Music, Migration & Mobility (MMM) project at the Royal College of Music, London.File in questo prodotto:
