In this work we exploit data regarding Mars, Earth and Venus in order to compare quantitatively the greenhouse warming caused by water vapor to that caused by carbon dioxide. Importance of water vapor greenhouse warming is a known fact, but according to our work, it is far more decisive than carbon dioxide in determining the planetary temperature.

Abstract
