The article presents the activities of the Urban Popular University in Latin America focusing on international meetings, an initiative of the International Alliance of inhabitants (IAI). It discusses the experiences of the UPU meetings realized in Buenos Aires (Argentina) in may of 2006, and in Santo Domingo (Dominican Republican), this time in April of 2007.
