The results of this investigation may be formulated thus: Coriolis accelerations in subjects placed in uniform angular rotation show: an increase in the systolic arterial pressure and a fall in cardiac output, while the rate remains constant; the ECG displays signs of stimulation both sympathetic and vagal; the increase in the systolic pressure might not be specific but represents the consequence of psychogenic stress. The stress may be due to other effects of abnormal labyrinth stimulation. Arslan, D'Amelio, Marchiori and others have in fact shown that coriolis stimulation induces increased excretion of urinary catecholamines. It is also important to bear in mind the setting in which the experiment is carried out and the psychic reactivity of the subjects in relation to their individual sensitivity.

Abstract
It is also important to bear in mind the setting in which the experiment is carried out and the psychic reactivity of the subjects in relation to their individual sensitivity.Pubblicazioni consigliate
