The article examines the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on continuing education, with the aim of understanding what changes, in the idea and the way it works, have been introduced. Through empirical research, these issues were investigated by comparing the opinions of training managers working in the Veneto region with those of students who aspire to hold this position and are currently training at the university. The function and meaning of continuous training were explored in light of the pandemic, which highlighted its weaknesses and strengths, but also its role as a key element in coping with sudden changes in society and in personal and professional development.
