This paper deals with a didactic experience carried out in a first class of an Italian upper secondary school (grade 9), concerning the use of paper-folding in teaching Euclidean geometry, in particular in the introduction to the axiomatic-deductive method. The experience was carried out in the context of the first author's master's degree thesis in mathematics. The aim of the experimentation is to verify whether better learning occurs by adopting paper folding as a teaching tool.

Abstract
