The training of university teachers has been a particularly debated topic in educational research for several decades. The training models have reflected the needs of the specific historical and cultural moments in which they developed. Today, there is a need to propose ecological, inclusive, and participative educational models precisely concerning the emerging need to leverage these values on a social and cultural level. The REFLECT model, developed in the specific Italian context, has also attempted to respond to these needs. The article proposes an initial implementation and its first results. Finally, the implications are discussed concerning both, the refinement of the model and its impact in educational and social terms.

Abstract
The training of university teachers has been a particularly debated topic in educational research for several decades. The training models have reflected the needs of the specific historical and cultural moments in which they developed. Today, there is a need to propose ecological, inclusive, and participative educational models precisely concerning the emerging need to leverage these values on a social and cultural level. The REFLECT model, developed in the specific Italian context, has also attempted to respond to these needs. The article proposes an initial implementation and its first results. Finally, the implications are discussed concerning both, the refinement of the model and its impact in educational and social terms.Pubblicazioni consigliate
