With this work we report on the recent results on the electrical, optical and thermal characterization of visible and UVC LEDs during their heating transient based on the use of a high resolution / high speed transient measurement technique. The system has been designed within the AI-TWILIGHT project, and immediately applied to the investigation of high power LEDs. Green and UVC LEDs have been characterized and the effect of self-heating during the measurement is analyzed and discussed.

Abstract
With this work we report on the recent results on the electrical, optical and thermal characterization of visible and UVC LEDs during their heating transient based on the use of a high resolution / high speed transient measurement technique. The system has been designed within the AI-TWILIGHT project, and immediately applied to the investigation of high power LEDs. Green and UVC LEDs have been characterized and the effect of self-heating during the measurement is analyzed and discussed.File in questo prodotto:
